Schedule

A conference schedule that lives in every pocket and changes when you change it.

Multi-day, two rooms side by side, every session with its room, its speakers and its own check-in. Move the keynote on the morning and every phone in the room has it before you have closed the tab.

Two days, two rooms, twenty-four rows. One programme, current everywhere.

A session, opened

Every session opens to its room, its description and its speakers. Every speaker opens to their sessions.

The session screen carries the room, the time and who is on; the speaker screen carries the bio and the sessions they give. Nobody asks you which room the panel is in.

On your desk

Edit the programme on a grid: one day at a time, both rooms across the page.

Move a session, change its room, add a speaker from the roster, set who each tier admits. The grid is the programme; the app and the event page are two more views of it.

A change, on the morning

Change the schedule on the day and the whole room finds out at once.

One record, edited on the desk or through the assistant. A notice to the day it touches. Every phone current.

Step 1 of 3

Move the keynote on the grid, or ask the assistant to.

Drag it on the grid, or ask the assistant to move it. Either way it is one record.

Drag it to 10:00 on the day's grid, or type the change into the assistant. It asks before it saves. Either way the session is one record, and the room, the speakers and the check-in move with it.

A session

Every row carries a type, a room, its speakers and its own check-in.

A keynote, a talk, a panel, a workshop, a roundtable. Each with a start and an end in the venue's own time, a description, the speakers from the roster, and a door of its own: the same QR, scanned at this session.

Breaks and meals

Coffee, lunch and the dinner are rows in the programme too.

They have their own type, so the app draws them where attendees expect them, between the sessions, and they never carry a check-in unless you give them one. The founders' dinner does: sixty seats, VIP only.

Who gets in

Decide per session which ticket tiers it admits. The door enforces it.

Tick the tiers a session admits on the Tickets tab. A session with nothing ticked is open to everyone; the dinner with only VIP ticked is a dinner the scanner refuses to everyone else.

The shape of it

Two days, two rooms and eight kinds of session, in one programme.

Every row has a type, a room, a start and an end. The grid, the app and the event page are three views of the same twenty-four rows.

Two rooms, side by side.

A morning across both rooms, the way the grid you edit shows it.

The printed schedule was right last Tuesday. This one is right now.

Move the keynote in the dashboard, or ask the assistant to. The app updates on every phone in the room, and the people it affects hear from you, not from a sign on the door.
Straight answers

Parallel rooms, tracks, agendas, and what it does not do yet.

Yes. Rooms run side by side on the grid and in the app, each session with its own room, track and speakers, so a five-track conference reads as clearly as a single stage.

Also in the product

Check-in, the event page and the app run on the same ticket list.

Speakers

From the call for speakers to the stage, without a spreadsheet.
